I was writing regular blogs for this website with ease until Covid hit us and then suddenly I was stuck. I didn’t know what to write about. The enormity of the disruption and the threat to all our lives and livelihoods left me feeling that anything I might say was irrelevant. I don’t know what can or will happen next, so how do I write about tackling our lives, how do I offer support to anyone?
Covid has been with us for more than half a year and who knows how much longer it will be a threat, but the time has come for me to move out of my stuck mode. As a coach, I’m trained to ask questions. Here are the ones I have been asking myself:
What have I learnt from lockdown?
What really matters?
What do I want to achieve in the next 10 years?
What are the values that I want to apply in my future?
If I had to design a new world order, what would it look like?
What can I personally contribute to a post-Covid world?
Thinking about these questions has lifted my brain fog and I’m tackling new ideas and projects with enthusiasm. I hope they will also bring you some clarity.
